Pressure

Renamed from "Erosion," itself renamed from "Exhaustion" — both earlier names centered passive decay rather than the operator's own deliberate, sustained action.

You are removing the target's capacity to resist. This page runs the process — read the threshold, don't convert early.

THE PATIENCE DOCTRINE

Read the Threshold

Pressure is the strategy most frequently abandoned too early. It produces no visible ground taken — only degradation, invisible until the conversion point is reached. Drag to set the target's current capacity and see whether it's actually time to convert.

THE PLAY

Attrition

Attrition — Pressure's Play

Impose cost at every contact faster than the target can recover. Do not seek decisive engagement — seek cumulative degradation. Control arrives at the point of collapse, not before.

Objectives
Drain · Sustain · Control
Requires
Sustained engagement viable · target recovery slower than your own loss rate · own capability sufficient to outlast
Failure Standard
If your own losses exceed the target's recovery rate, you are running Pressure on yourself. Convert or abort.
