• Membership is offered on a recurring monthly subscription basis at the price displayed at checkout.
• Your subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access through that period.
• Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to active members.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

4. Acceptable Use

• Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card details ourselves
• Training record: the full name printed on your certificates, your call sign, and your progress in the War Academy (exams, drills, assessments, achievements, and Chess Room games). It is saved in your browser, and when you register with an email address it is also stored with our database provider so your profile can follow you to any device
• Assessment and profile data: your responses to assessments, self-reported goals, and activity within tools such as the Operator
• Communications: any messages you send us directly

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, lessons and challenges completed
• Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system
• Cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies, as described in Section 4 below

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including your personalized curriculum, rank, certificates, and assessment results
• To process membership payments and manage your subscription
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests, including the sign-in links you request
• To improve the Service, including understanding which content and features are most useful

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, and database storage of training records, under obligations to protect your information
• Other members, only where you choose it: a member who reaches the rank of Mastermind has their call sign and the date they reached it shown on the Hall of Masterminds roll
• Legal authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Mastermind Manual, our users, or others
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information

4. Cookies and Browser Storage

The Service may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies necessary for core functionality, such as keeping you logged in, saving your training record on your device, and remembering your preferences. • You may access, update, or correct your account information at any time through your account settings, and your name and call sign at any time on your Profile
• You may request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us
• You may unsubscribe from non-essential email communications at any time via the link provided in those emails
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

9. International Users
